I'm looking for an ATF story where JD is hurt and the only free beds the hospital has is in the pediatrics ward so they stick him there. I remember it was part of a series, it's modern-day ATF? and earlier in the series a little girl was orphaned while he was undercover, and he saved her from a violent situation.

Story has Ezra being hunted in the wintery mountains. He jumps off a cliff and grabs the hands of one of the team members in a helicopter. Not Heather F's "The Hunt." Would like to read again as the details, as you can tell, are slipping from memory.

So, I'm looking for a specific fic. It was an ATF AU and one clear thing I remember is that there was a job that went bad, and the team (or possibly just Ezra? maybe he was undercover?) ended up being saved by Texas Rangers, possibly because Vin had been a Texas Ranger at one point. It might have been Vin/Ezra, but it could have been gen.
